During the Annual Center for Public Safety Excellence conference on March 21, 2017, staff from Red, White and Blue testified before the Accreditation Commission and were successful in achieving the Internationally Accredited Status for the Red, White & Blue Fire Protection District. The District is only 1 of 236 agencies worldwide to receive this accolade and is the only accredited agency in Summit County. The accredited status is valid for 5 years.
"It was noticed by the Commission on Fire Accreditation International that our agency is top notch, with an extreme level of dedication and support from all levels of the organization," stated Battalion Chief Ryan Roberts.
Accreditation is a comprehensive self-assessment and quality improvement model that enables organizations to examine past, current, and future service levels and internal performance and compare them to current research and industry best practices. This process leads to a more efficient and effective emergency service organization.
